Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River near Goodrich affecting San Jacinto, Liberty and Polk Counties. Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Liberty and Chambers Counties. Trinity River at Riverside affecting San Jacinto, Walker, Polk and Trinity Counties. Brazos River near West Columbia affecting Brazoria County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Brazos River near Rosharon affecting Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Texas... West Fork San Jacinto near Humble affecting Harris and Montgomery Counties. Navasota River near Normangee affecting Brazos, Grimes and Madison Counties. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. For the East Fork San Jacinto River...including New Caney, Cleveland...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Brazos River...including US 59, Sugar Land, TX, West Columbia, Bryan, Hempstead, Bellville, San Felipe, Richmond, Rosharon...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins as homes in several subdivisions above Liberty begin flooding. Extensive flooding over much of Liberty County can be expected with each incremental rise in the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 30.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 PM CDT Monday was 30.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.5 feet this evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 30.0 feet on 05/23/1990. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
