Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty Counties. Trinity River at Riverside affecting Polk, Trinity, San Jacinto and Walker Counties. Brazos River near Rosharon affecting Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Brazos River at Richmond affecting Fort Bend County. Brazos River at US 59, Sugar Land, TX affecting Fort Bend County. Navasota River near Normangee affecting Madison, Grimes and Brazos Counties. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. For the Brazos River...including US 59, Sugar Land, TX, Richmond, Rosharon...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Navasota River near Normangee. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the main channel and inundates the flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:00 PM CDT Friday was 15.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning to 14.4 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then rise to flood stage early Tuesday morning. It will fall for the remainder of the period. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.2 feet on 03/31/2007. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Robertson and Leon Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly. * WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.2 feet late tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
