Red Flag Warning issued July 19 at 12:52PM CDT until July 20 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 8 PM MDT MONDAY DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR CORSON AND DEWEY... ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM TO 9 PM CDT MONDAY DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR CAMPBELL, WALWORTH, AND POTTER... The National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD has issued a Red Flag Warning. * AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, Campbell, Walworth, and Potter. * TIMING...From 3 PM to 9 PM CDT Monday. * WINDS...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity down to around 20 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Red Flag Warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to receive information from authorities. Follow all fire restrictions. One less spark, one less wildfire.
