Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Elkin... Fairview... Dobson... Bottom... Mountain Park... State Road... and Benham. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for north central North Carolina...and southwestern Virginia.
