Flood Watch issued July 5 at 3:15PM EDT until July 6 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central and southern New Jersey, including the following areas, in central New Jersey, Eastern Monmouth. In southern New Jersey, Atlantic, Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Cape May, Coastal Atlantic, Coastal Ocean, Cumberland, Ocean and Southeastern Burlington. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact the area this afternoon through Monday. Rain amounts of over 2 inches in an hour will be possible leading to areas of flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 6 at 12:06AM EDT until July 6 at 12:15AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for southern New Jersey...and southeastern Pennsylvania. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for portions of Cumberland, Salem, Camden, and Gloucester counties until 1245 AM EDT.
