Flood Watch issued July 9 at 5:20PM EDT until July 10 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following area, New Castle and southern New Jersey, including the following areas, Camden, Gloucester, Northwestern Burlington and Salem. * WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through this evening, capable of producing heavy downpours. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour, possibly as high as 3 inches per hour, are likely and short term training could result in flooding over southeast Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and portions of southern New Jersey. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Southwestern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania... * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is up to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
