Extreme Heat Warning issued July 12 at 12:54PM MDT until July 14 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Billings MT * WHAT...Extremely hot daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight low temperatures will produce cumulative heat stress. * WHERE...Portions of central and south central Montana. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT Monday Night. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 104 to 112 today. Temperatures will cool slightly to 95 to 101 Monday. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, plan outdoor activities during the early morning and late evening hours, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
