Coastal Flood Warning issued June 19 at 4:06PM CDT until June 20 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA * WHAT...Significant coastal flooding during high tide cycles. * WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower St. Bernard, Southeast St. Tammany and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock County. * WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Numerous roads outside of the hurricane risk reduction system in St Bernard parish currently impacted will likely see only minor improvement tonight before lowly rising again tomorrow. Water could cover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay St. Louis at high tide. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
