Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Locations on the west side of Lake Pontchartrain will continue to see tide levels slowly rise through the evening likely only slowing down or holding steady until late Thursday or possibly Friday before finally beginning to fall. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
