Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 21 at 3:05AM CDT until June 21 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...Lower Vermilion, Lower Iberia and Lower St. Mary Parishes. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels of 1.5 to 2.0 feet MHHW during high tide can be expected this morning, slowly receding by this afternoon. Minor flooding expected to persist this morning. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
