Special Weather Statement issued July 11 at 3:16PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 12 miles southeast of Deberry to over Grambling, or extending from 17 miles east of Carthage to over Grambling, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Shreveport, Bossier City, Ruston, Minden, Grambling, Homer, Haughton, Greenwood, Arcadia, Stonewall, Ringgold, Sibley, Gibsland, Doyline, Dixie Inn, Dubberly, Heflin, Eastwood, Fosters and Simsboro.
