Red Flag Warning issued June 20 at 12:40AM MDT until June 20 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Denver CO * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 211, 212, 213, 214, 217 and 218. * TIMING...From 11 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
