For the High Wind Watch, east winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible, highest from Layton to Bountiful. * WHERE...Northern Wasatch Front. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 6 AM to 6 PM MDT Thursday. For the High Wind Watch, from Thursday evening through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of winds including trampolines, garbage cans, outdoor furniture and other items that may become projectiles in high winds.
