Flood Warning issued April 29 at 1:09AM CDT until April 29 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 109 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
