Flood Watch issued May 5 at 11:23AM AKDT until May 7 at 4:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following area, Kuskokwim Delta. * WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...As of Sunday morning, the ice jam front is in the Tuluksak/Akiak area. Both communities experienced high water and localized flooding as a result of small breakup jams. Potential ice jams and associated high water may cause minor or moderate flooding in Kwethluk and Akiachak. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Now is the time to take precautions.
