This includes the cities of Glennallen, Eureka, Mccarthy, Paxson, And Slana. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Snowmelt flooding continues across portions of the Copper River Basin. Daytime high temperatures in the 50s, with nighttime lows above freezing at most locations, will continue to melt snow cover across the region, especially at higher elevations. The will cause local rivers and streams to rise and areas of flooding will be possible. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Persons living along streams should stay alert and be prepared to take action if a warning or advisory is issued, or flooding is observed.
